Tom learns that white mice sell for plenty of money, so Tom craftily paints Jerry white and sells him to the local pet store, and receives $50. He hides his earnings under the rug so that nobody can find it. Unfortunately, his owner does indeed take the money and uses it to buy a white mouse. Not just any white mouse, but Jerry, who dances to music on the radio.
Tom tries, several times to catch Jerry but his owner scolds him each time, hitting him with a broom. In the end, Tom paints himself white and teams up as Jerry’s new dancing partner. The owner of the house, finding the white Tom and his dance partner cute, takes no notice now that Tom has got the upper hand.
