Tom and Jerry Cartoons under this category
While hunting in the woods, Tom shoots at a flock of ducks, critically wounding Quacker, who, despite an initial struggle to carry on flying, is sent hurtling towards the ground. He is found by Jerry who nurses him back to health, with the help of several bandages. When Quacker is able to fly again, he is pursued by Tom, and shot in the rear. The problem is solved by bandaging Quacker’s bottom.
However, Tom uses a duck caller to lure Quacker, who falls for Tom’s trickery and ends up getting shot in the face. Not to worry, because Jerry bandages Quacker’s entire body. As an extra precaution, he also attaches a length of rope to Quacker, with a large anvil on the end of that rope. When Quacker begins flying and struggles to reach a comfortable height, Tom shoots at him, but shoots through the rope, sending the anvil crashing down onto him, effectively disableing him, and allowing Quacker to fly. Quacker shakes the bandages off his body and thanks Jerry for his help.
